The Maine to tour

The Maine are headed back out on the road with Never Shout Never, and the tour hits Anaheim on 10/23.

Arizona-based quintet The Maine released their major-label debut Black & White on July 13. The album is the much-anticipated follow-up to 2008's critically acclaimed Can't Stop Won't Stop and debuted at #16 on the Billboard 200 chart, #4 on the Billboard Alternative Albums chart, and #6 on the Billboard Rock Albums and Digital Albums charts and The Maine's MySpace has already racked up over 77 million collective plays.

Alternative Press selected The Maine as one of their Most Anticipated Albums of 2010, and the magazine put them on the cover of their July issue. The band played at the Bamboozle festivals on both coasts this year to packed, enthusiastic crowds. Rolling Stone selected them as one of "Bamboozle 2010's Five Breakout Bands to Watch" and Billboard called their performance "one of the most buzzed about Saturday performances... [The Maine] brought great energy to the Sony Bloggie stage and was still making conversation Sunday afternoon."

They sold out many of the dates on their first ever headlining tour this summer and are headed out on the road with Never Shout Never for a nationwide fall tour (see below for the full itinerary.)
