Solo Acoustic Fingerstyle guitar player and songwriter Brett Hallam Holland displays a modern approach within his style. He incorporates two hand tapping, slapping, walking bass lines, improvisation, and open tunings into his songs and arrangements that are big on groove, strong on melody and spanning many genres.
A native of New Zealand as well as an Australian citizen, Brett is a composer ( docos and a musical) as well as a gifted tutor and clinician. He has performed in many musicals and backed up many NZ icons, and as a soloist and Band leader he has played at many festivals. Brett made his U.S. debut at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society in July 2012. He will be sharing tunes from 2 albums recorded in Nashville last year, the solo acoustic "The Zone" and Songwriter material from " Point Of View". He tours as a soloist, also, he has been working part-time for Australian guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel on his U.S. tours.
