Claremont Folk Festival set for June 15

This year, the Claremont Folk Festival is joining forces with the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden in Claremont for a full day of events.  There will be two stages featuring live music as well as workshops, kid’s activities, Garden tours, art vendors, craft booths and gourmet food and libations. 
The musical line-up includes David Lindley, Henry Rollins, Janet Klein and her Parlor Boys, Moira Smiley and Voco, Leon Mobley with Da Lion and more. 
Workshops and activities will include African and Cajun drumming, European and American folk music, gypsy guitar, ukelele, didgeridoo, protest songs, harmonica and puppeteering.
People will be encouraged to participate in songwriting, mosaic making, garden tours, and drum circles.
Vendors will also be on site selling jewelry, natural soy candles and bath products, vintage prints and posters, didgeridoos, ceramics, blown glass, mosaic art, vintage items, and cigar box guitars, banjos and ukeleles.

The Claremont Folk Festival is a non-profit festival supported by fundraising efforts, donations, sponsorship and volunteers. It aims to continue the Folk Music Center and Folk Music Center Museum's nearly 50 years of providing sensational musical talent to the Claremont community.
