Opportunities like this come once in a lifetime and Pasadena, CA resident Chanel Hason needs your help to turn her dream into a reality.

Out of nearly 600,000 entries spanning from across the globe for six dream jobs up for grabs, Hason has been chosen as a Top 25 finalist in The Best Job in the World competition: Hason is one of the 11 Finalists stemming from the Los Angeles area.

The next phase of the contest, which ends May 7 (PST), is for the finalists to generate an off the charts social media campaign. Then they have the potential to move on to the next round before the final selections. Hason is vying for the Wildlife Caretaker position located in South Australia for a 6 month contract worth $100,000!

"My passion in life is ocean conservation, environmental education and promoting sustainable living," said Hason who graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a degree in Marine and Coastal Ecology. "I want to promote a good role model for women in the science field to never give up and follow their dreams."

Hason has actually lived in Queensland, Australia in 2009 while studying abroad focusing on Marine Biology. Chanel's love for Australia's indigenous wildlife and natural beauty only reaffirmed that her passion for conservation biology. Hason conducted research experiments on the Great Barrier Reef, which was an item she gladly got to cross off her (extensive but inspiring) Bucket List.

This passionate California native has logged in thousands of hours volunteering with animals such as sea otters, sea lions, river otters, sharks, octopus, tuna, and beluga whales among others. She has also volunteered at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Long Beach Aquarium and on Coastal Clean Up Days.

Chanel is asking for anyone that wants to help her win her dream job, to print out the image below - and take a creative photo with their friends/family members/pets/ect. in creative locations across the globe and post them on the wall of her Facebook Page.

"To help my chances of making the Top 3, I need to get as many non-monetary endorsements as possible from friends and family," continued Hason. "It could be simply a Tweet, a Facebook posting or a picture of someone holding a sign that reads "Chanel for Wildlife Caretaker" or "Australia, Pick Chanel."

Hason is also reaching out to celebrities and prominent people in the community to endorse her campaign by writing a letter of support addressed to the Tourism Australia board. She gained support this week from a local law enforcement Sargent of the South Pasadena Police Department, the Executive Director of her local YMCA, the CEO of all Southern California YMCA's, and even a well-known Los Angeles news reporter.
