Madina Lake is busy!

Madina Lake haven’t had a chance to catch their breath from all the activity bustling around them this summer! Currently wrapping up the last leg of this years’ Projekt Revolution tour featuring Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and Mindless Self Indulgence, the band have been hard at work connecting with fans throughout the US. From sales spikes to radio airplay, to TV appearances, to winning a hugely prestigious music award, these four guys from Chicago are on a trajectory straight upward.Last month across the Atlantic Ocean, Madina Lake beat out the likes of 30 Seconds to Mars, The Sleeping, Job For a Cowboy and Hellogoodbye to win “Best International Newcomer” at the Kerrang! Awards in the UK. With the band selling out venues for their Fall 2007 headlining tour, which includes Envy On The Coast, Halifax and My American Heart as support, this distinction will insure that the remaining handful of tickets will get snatched up quickly.
Bringing their quirky personalities to US homes, the band infiltrated MTV2 as special correspondents for the Projekt Revolution tour, delivering two weeks of hilarious insider coverage of the tour. Teaming up with MTV again, MTV.com has recruited the Leone twins to be red carpet correspondents during MTV's Video Music Awards pre-show coverage. The twins will be interviewing fellow musicians and celebrities, while strolling through the Palms Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, September 9.The band has followed up their successful debut single, “House of Cards,” with the anthemic powerhouse, “Here I Stand.” The track has already locked down airplay in vital markets such as Charlotte, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Albuquerque and the music video has been viewed over 530,000 times on YouTube. “Here I Stand” has also risen sharply in digital sales, leading the charge with single-week sales hitting over 2,600 downloads and with mastertone sales on the rise as well.
Madina Lake’s From Them, Through Us, To You is out now.
