Support local music

Here's some local events courtesy of Sierra Madre Sue:

I've been frequenting the Arcadia Blues Club for over a year now, and although I was a little put out at first by the $5 cover charge on a Thursday night, the place has grown on me and I really like it. They have live music on Thurs., Fri., and Sat. nights and book some pretty big Blues acts. But Thursday night is Honky Tonk night, and Rick Shea and The Losin' End are the house band. Every week they have a guest band that plays the middle set, at around 9pm, so you're getting 2 quality acts for your money. The pool games are free and there are nightly drink specials and a full kitchen, so it's worth the price of admission! Attached is a photo of me and Chris the bartender. She is very nice and extremely efficient - one more reason I keep going back! Thank you Chris!

TONITE!!! - WED. 9/5 - MAX BUDA (formerly LOS CHUMPS featuring Chester on electric violin, Jerry on grand piano, Tedroy on bass and Sierra Madre's own Peter Burke on drums) @ CAFE 322 IN SIERRA MADRE, 8:00pm. 626-836-5414. Rob here from The Tumbling Tumbleweeds. We really appreciate you posting our gigs on here! You have a great site! We are indeed based in Sierra Madre and the reason you haven't met us yet is because you haven't been to one of our shows yet!..:) We'd love to meet you so any time you can make to one of our Coffee Gallery shows let us know!
