Juanes to be featured on MTV Tr3 this month

Music fans who have anxiously awaited the latest from Juanes, one of the most prolific and award-winning Latin music artists of all time, can turn to MTV Tr3́s beginning October 2nd for some of the most intimate television programming on the Latin Rock superstar to date. Led by the by smash hit “Me Enamora,” which currently stands at #1 in 14 countries, including The United States, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, Chile and all of Central America, Juanes’ “La Vida … es un Ratico” is the most anticipated Latin album of the year.
“MTV and Juanes have a long history together, dating back to his first solo album, and MTV Tr3́s is honored and extremely excited to bring our audience an up-close and personal view of what it was like for Juanes to record his magnificent new album,” said Jesus Lara, Senior Vice President, Music and Talent for MTV Tr3́s and MTV/VH1 Latin America.
Juanes opens up for MTV Tr3́s viewers in "Juanes: A Musical Journey" where the singer/songwriter talks openly about his musical passions and inspirations. The program, shot on location in Colombia, also features interviews with many of Juanes’ friends who reflect on growing up with someone who has become a cultural ambassador of their country and has 12 Latin Grammy awards to his name. "Juanes: A Musical Journey" premieres on October 2nd at 4:30 PM and will be rebroadcast throughout the month.
In “Qiu and Ey: Juanes,” MTV Tr3́s turns the microphone over to viewers and artists such as Fergie, Daddy Yankee, Wisin y Yandel, Salma Hayak and Grupo Xtreme to show Juanes some love and ask the questions they’ve always wanted answered. “Qiu and Ey: Juanes” premieres on October 9th at 4:30 PM and will also be rebroadcast throughout the month.
Juanes’ recently announced live performance on “Premios MTV” on October 18th at 10:00 PM will provide MTV Tr3́s viewers yet another opportunity to get close to one of their favorite superstars.
On Thursday, October 25th at 4 PM, just two days after the worldwide release of “La Vida … es un Ratico,” “Mi TRL” welcomes Juanes to its Times Square studio to meet with fans, talk about his new album and perform “Me Enamora”.

Juanes’ “Me Enamora” video had its worldwide premiere on MTV Tr3́s on September 21st.
