Here's the latest from my friend Sierra Madre Sue:
I'm not a big football fan myself, but I do enjoy the opportunity it provides to get together with friends on a Sunday morning for bloody marys and breakfast burritos. Add to that a small wager, and let the game begin! A few weeks ago when the San Francisco 49ers got spanked by the Pittsburgh Steelers, there was more than money at stake, between local music legend SNOTTY SCOTTY and Deanna Cogan of MERCY & THE MERKETTES fame. Hailing from Latrobe, PA, Deanna is a die-hard Steelers fan and Scotty, whose initials happen to be S.F., jumped on the 49ers bandwagon back when Joe Montana was king. The details of the wager will not be disclosed here - just be assured that public humiliation is involved! The payoff will take place this Sat. night at the BUCCANEER LOUNGE in Sierra Madre, sometime between 10 and 11pm, during the MERCY & THE MERKETTES show..... more info. below ____________________________________________________________________________
