Support local music

Here's the latest from my friend Sierra Madre Sue:

Local band WRECK 'N' SOW is going to be mighty busy this weekend, so you'll have 3 chances to see them! Saturday night they'll be at the Pike Bar in Long Beach and then Sunday they have back-to-back gigs in Sierra Madre and Pasadena. As part of the City of Sierra Madre's year-long Centennial Celebration, the boys will perform at the closing event - a family picnic on the grounds of the Mater Dolorosa Retreat Center at the top of Sunnyside Ave., along with the SO. CAL. LYRIC THEATRE and ALUMINUM MARSHMALLOW. I do believe "Honorary Mayor for the Day" Huell Howser is just going to be deelighted with their spiffy overalls! Immediately following their set, WRECK 'N' SOW will high-tail it on over to the Barn Burner BBQ Restaurant in Pasadena for more of their "Alternative-edged Bluegrass, Roots Country and Old-timey Americana Music."
