Tickmaster offers online affiliate network opportunities

Ticketmaster, the world’s leading ticketing company, has launched its first-ever online affiliate network in the United States. Consumers and organizations may register to become Ticketmaster affiliates at ticketmaster.com/affiliates and begin earning commissions for online ticket sales that originate via links from their Web sites.

Registered affiliates will receive access to use Ticketmaster’s new EventEngine widget, to create and post a customized Ticketmaster event marketing engine on their website(s) to alert visitors and friends about upcoming events and link them to Ticketmaster.com and TicketWeb.com to purchase tickets. Ticketmaster affiliates will also have access to Ticketmaster search buttons, banners, and link engines.

“Our new affiliate network will link us to marketing and content partners with loyal traffic and bring even more fans to Ticketmaster.com to purchase tickets to our clients’ events,” said Sean Moriarty, President and CEO, Ticketmaster. “We are going to continue expanding the network with more tools and functionality, and we expect to roll out the program globally in the near future.”

The Ticketmaster affiliate program and EventEngine widget were developed in association with buy at, Inc (www.buyat.com), a leading international affiliate network. buy at.com will provide Ticketmaster with affiliate support, tracking, reporting and payment services.
