Mother-daughter design team, Maria and Barbara Serbes of Rock Your Religion, have officially launched their new online store for their men's and women's accessories collection at www.RockYourReligion.com , in conjunction with the latest collection, The Star of David.
Rock Your Religion is an accessory line inspired by ancient religious symbols infused with a rock star mentality and made with authentic Italian leathers and heavy metals. Proudly manufactured in the United States, the accessories can now be found in various boutiques across the country and have most recently been made available online.
Today, celebrities like The Backstreet Boys, Nolé Marin (of America's Next Top Model) and Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana), are joining the trend and supporting the Rock Your Religion brand.
In keeping with its rock star outlook, Rock Your Religion also partners with VH1's Save The Music Foundation, donating a portion of ALL sales to benefit the non-profit organization which finances music education in American schools.
The Star of David line joins the staple Chi Rho and Cross collections which debuted earlier this year.
Rock Your Religion is the entrepreneurial debut for both Barbara and Maria Serbes. Barbara comes from a strong background in fashion marketing at Tommy Hilfiger and Maria has several jobs on her list, but none more important than that of mother and wife and core of the Serbes family. Maria's idea to create this company stemmed from a family heirloom, which she created for her boyfriend, Jimmy, in 1965 upon his deployment to the military. Eventually, Maria married her Spartan soldier, who has worn the Chi Rho symbol proudly ever since. As such, the Chi Rho was the piece that started it all, and this line is now dedicated to their family-"In this sign, you will conquer."
