Eric Millegan and Asunta Fleming to sing

Producer Michael Sterling is pleased to announce that Fox Television star Eric Millegan will make his west coast cabaret singing debut at Sterling’s Upstairs at Vitello’s Sunday, December 2, 2007. Accompanied by Emmy-winning pianist Richard Callaci, Millegan welcomes special guest star Jenna Gavigan (Broadway's "Gypsy" with Bernadette Peters and TV's "Commander in Chief.") Critically acclaimed as LA’s premier supper-club located at the legendary Vitello’s Restaurant, Sterling’s Upstairs celebrated the beginning of its second year of operation on June 9, 2007, and is known for its dedication to presenting the best of Broadway performers and Nightclub artists on a weekly basis.
An exciting addition to the roster of headliners at Sterling’s Upstairs, Eric Millegan is currently starring as the genius forensic anthropologist Dr. Zack Addy in FOX's hit detective drama, "Bones," now in its third season.
Though a relative newcomer, Eric has already worked on some of television's biggest shows. He has appeared on the NBC hit "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and Sidney Lumet's A&E courtroom drama "100 Centre Street."
Before making his break in Los Angeles, Eric had a successful ten year career in the theater. Employing what Variety called "winning stage presence and a sweet, melodious tenor," he starred as Harold opposite Oscar winner Estelle Parsons in the world premiere of "Harold & Maude": The Musical at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey. His New York theater credits include the Broadway revival of "Jesus Christ Superstar," the Encores presentation of "Hair" at City Center (in which he sang the "Aquarius" solo), and the New York premiere of "Dead Man Walking" at Lincoln Center.
He has played lead roles in workshops and readings of "The Wayside Inn" (directed by Jason Moore), Uncle Broadway, Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil's Mask (directed by Richard Maltby Jr.), the Off-Broadway hit "Altar Boyz" and the current Broadway hit "Spring Awakening" (directed by Michael Mayer). His regional theater experience includes roles at the Guthrie Theater, Cincinnati Playhouse In the Park, and The Repertory Theater of St. Louis. Recently, during the holidays, Eric starred as Frederic in Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance" at the Silva Concert Hall at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene, Oregon.
"Fresh faced and as overzealous as a kid in a candy store, Eric Millegan proceeded to wow the crowd with his natural charm, good looks, and enough talent to make contemporaries quit the business. He's that good. In fact, he has so much going for him that he just might be the next Matthew Broderick....this golden boy seems ripe to secure his spot in the big time and become a musical theatre fixture. His inherent qualities as a performer are exceptional..... Move over, Hugh Jackman. Here comes Eric." - Back Stage (New York).
