AMC Summer MovieCamp June 25-August 6

Kids and adults alike can enjoy the magic of movies on Wednesday mornings this summer at AMC Summer MovieCamp in participating markets. An exciting and affordable option for summer fun, AMC Entertainment is proud to offer the community service program in 38 U.S. markets from June 25 to Aug. 6, 2008. A nominal fee of $1 per guest will be charged with all admission proceeds, excluding taxes, going to AMC charitable partners, Variety – The Children’s Charity and the Will Rogers Institute.

AMC Summer MovieCamp, now in its 23rd year, has been a fixture in the communities AMC serves. The program presents G- and PG-rated movies on the big screen every Wednesday morning. Advance tickets will be on sale starting June 18 at 105 participating AMC theatre locations and online. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and shows will begin at 10 a.m. local time nationwide.

AMC Summer MovieCamp encourages people of all ages to enjoy a treasured pastime, going to the movies. Popular with grandparents, parents and kids, the program allows kids to be kids and provides entertainment suitable for all ages. This year, AMC Summer MovieCamp will feature a selection of the top-performing G- and PG-rated films of 2007. The film schedule and titles include:

June 25: “Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium” (G)
July 2: “The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep” (PG)
July 9: “Alvin & The Chipmunks” (PG)
July 16: “Shrek The Third” (PG)
July 23: “Bee Movie” (PG)
July 30: “Surf’s Up” (PG)
August 6: “TMNT” (PG)

During AMC Summer MovieCamp, AMC Entertainment will also offer KidsPackTM concession combos, featuring AMC’s Frooti Tootis™ snack made with real fruit and juice. The KidsPack combo will be priced at $3.00, nearly a 50 percent reduction. This KidsPack combo reduction offer is only valid during AMC Summer MovieCamp showtimes.
