Help Orange County Food Bank and save $29 on Knott's Berry Farm admission

Continuing its commitment to assist with the needs of the local community, Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park has once again partnered with the Orange County Food Bank to help fight hunger in Southern California. This year marks Knott’s Berry Farm’s eighth year coordinating the food drive that feeds thousands in the Orange County area. Last year’s food drive at Knott’s Berry Farm yielded 34,425 lbs. of food for local distribution. During these difficult economic times, the success of the food drive is crucial to assisting those in need in the Orange County area.

January 5 through February 1, 2009, every guest making a food donation at the park will get in for the junior price of just $22.99. This special discount offer saves $29 off of the regular admission of $51.99 for those ages 3 and up, 48" and taller.

A day at Knott’s Berry Farm includes 165 rides, live shows and attractions, including Knott’s newest coaster, Pony Express which delivers a horseback relay at speeds never imagined in the Old West! While sitting astride one of the team’s 16 horses, riders leave their post with their steed launching them at a speed of 0-38 mph in less than 3 seconds.

The collected food will be used by the Orange County Food Bank to help meet the needs of Southern California’s most destitute families and to collect needed donations beyond the traditional holiday period when the need is great and food supply is low. For more information on assisting those in need throughout the community, please contact the Orange County Food Bank at (714) 897-6670.

Beginning January 5, juniors are defined as ages 3 and up, less than 48". Seniors are ages 62 and older. For Knott’s Theme Park information, please call (714) 220-5200 or visit www.knotts.com.
