Sprinklers, when carefully designed and operated, will help your garden thrive and use less water. This intensive workshop will help you learn how to design, install, operate and maintain a new sprinkler system. Topics covered will include basic plant needs, hydraulics and valve operation, piping layout, sprinkler heads, controller types and operation, and finally maintenance. Bring paper and a pen to take notes; you will also receive handouts that will assist you.
Laramee Haynes is a Pasadena-based landscape contractor and designer with ten years of field experience. Prior to purchasing his father's landscaping business, Laramee worked as a mechanical engineer in manufacturing. He has also designed wonderful gardens at the Pasadena Showcase Houses and the LA Garden Show. www.hayneslandscaping.com
