Tea on May 28 to benefit Soroptimist International of Puente Hills

Soroptimist International of Puente Hills Hosts 5th Annual “Tea for You”My Fears, Struggles and Future Success

Soroptimist International of Puente Hills will host their 5th Annual “Tea for You – My Fears, Struggles and Future Success” on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 10:00a.m.-1:30p.m. at the Industry Hills Expo Center Pavilion, 16200 Temple Avenue, City of Industry, CA 91744.

The CAL SAFE Pregnant Teens and Teen Mothers’ Program provides a networking luncheon to students from 12 area high schools from the San Gabriel Valley.

“The event continues to grow and provides the much needed support to these mothers who may feel discouraged and alone,” said Gloria Mitchell, the chair of the annual event.

The group is expecting over 200 area teens, mentors, school officials, politicians, and speakers this year.
