l'Espirit d'Afrique
l'Esprit d'Afrique is a collective of multi-talented artists from around the world. Together they create Los Angeles's top Pan-African Performance Art Ensemble. The universal language of rhythm and movement is the foundation of L'Esprit d'Afrique. They are dedicated to creating performance art that brings together traditional and contemporary music, songs, dances and stories. Drawing from cultures of the west and central Africans and the African Diaspora in the "New World", namely: Guinean, Nigerian, Kongolese, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-American and Haitian.

Born in Warri, Oil City in the Delta region of Nigeria to a Nigerian father and a German mother, Nneka Egbuna has created the music on her new album as an offering of love, hope and optimism dedicated to the people of her homeland. Concrete Jungle is a collection of songs from her first two European releases Victim of Truth and No Longer at Ease that will put the singer/songwriter at the forefront of the US market for the first time.
