Diamond Bar Chinese school seeks English and math teachers

DIAMOND BAR CHINESE SCHOOL
NEEDS ENGLISH & MATH TEACHERS
FOR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Diamond Bar Chinese American Association (DBCAA) is a non profit organization; established in 1989 to help Chinese Americans to adjust into American culture. For the past 20 years, DBCAA has established a Chinese School for language and cultural programs benefiting thousands of students and residents in the community.

Diamond Bar Chinese School is looking for qualified English & Math teachers for its afternoon program.

Student Population: 35 students
Students Grade Levels: First Grade – 7th Grade
Teaching Hours: Monday - Friday, 5 days a week
2:30 pm – 3:30 pm Lower Level
3:30pm - 4:30 pm Mid level
4:30pm - 5:30pm Higher Level
(Each level may consist of students with different age. )

Qualification: College Degree with 2-3 years of teaching experiences. Teaching Credential a plus.

Compensation: DBCS is a non-profit organization operating by volunteers. Teacher salary is offered at $10.00/hour as a symbolic allowance. DBCS is also looking for community members who are willing to donate time to teach arts & crafts, music or science.
