January 31 - Alexiis coordinates her first Shimmyshowcase of 2010 and will be joined by Maria, Amber and male dancer Siraj. This is sure to be an exciting, high energy program with performances by some amazing dancers, so be sure to come down before 7:00 so you can relax in a good seat and enjoy some great entertainment.

February 7th - Xandra welcomes Jamali Bellydance Trio, Delilah, and Yasmin back for another performance at this Shimmyshowcase and introduces Farhana Masri to I-Candy’s magic carpet. Come on down to I-Candy Coffee this evening for some guaranteed fabulous dancing in a friendly, relaxed environment while enjoying a flavored coffee and delectable desert or sandwich.
February 14 – Ever-creative coordinator Savia takes a different twist on the common Valentine’s Day images with “Love Stinks!” We already have IrinaXara and Airleah onboard for this intriguing theme and would love to have other dancers express their interpretation on this evening traditionally identified with love. February 21 Alexiis celebrates her birthday with “Off the Beaten Path: An Evening of ATS Sisterhood.” For those of you who might be wondering, ATS is shorthand for American Tribal Style, and for this special night Alexiis has a tribal-packed evening planned with no less than four troupes—LA Tribal, Tribe of Astarte, Twisted Gypsy, and Azuluna plus Shanti performing! Be sure to mark your calendars and join us as I-Candy Coffee goes tribal.
February 28 – Saviya, coordinator for this showcase, welcomes Kamar to I-Candy Coffee’s magic carpet for her first performance of 2010. Since street parking around I-Candy Coffee is scarce, we recommend you try the perimeter of Bixby park located two blocks west of I-Candy Coffee at Broadway and Cherry. Please try to arrive before 7:00 PM (earlier if you’re a performer!) as we try not to start the show until everyone has settled with a tasty beverage.
