Program:
Staged scenes from Shakespeare-inspired operas including Hamlet (Thomas), Romeo et Juliette (Gounod), Otello (Verdi), Macbeth (Verdi), The Tempest (Hoiby), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten) and Das Liebesverbot (Wagner). Excerpts from popular musical theatre productions, including Kiss Me Kate (Porter) will be performed as well.
