Bernie Pearl gigs in March and beyond

Culver City, Camarillo, Granada Hills
Saturday, March 12
Bassist Mike Barry and I will be doing two sets of largely acoustic blues at
The Rumor Mill, 11739 Washington Blvd. in L.A.
(right next to Culver City, at Kensington),
7:30-10:00.
Coffee, tea, and sandwiches are available, and it is a nice venue in general. Seating is fairly limited and early arrival is suggested.
No cover, street parking, all ages.

Tuesday, April 5
A most interesting program. Mike and I will be playing the acoustic blues in conjunction with LMU professor Dr. Daniel Smith-Christopher, when he speaks on "The Old Testament and the Blues". Based on the Book of Lamentations, the focus will be on comparing and contrasting Scripture with the American Blues.
This class is free and open to the public.
7:30-9:00 PM,
Padre Sierra Parish, 5205 Upland Road, Camarillo Ca.
This program will be first presented on March 18 to delegates (only) at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress in Anaheim.

Friday, April 8
We will perform a set of acoustic blues at More Art, Inc. in
Granada Hills.
Opening the all-blues program at
7:00 is slide guitarist Bryan Chan,
followed at 8:00 by Delta specialist Tucker Smallwood, and
we play 9:00-10:00.
Donation of $5 is requested.
More Art, Inc. 10667 White Oak Ave, Granada Hills.
