The fascinating and intriguing documentary, “Sing: The Hotel Café Tour”, makes its exclusive U.S. television premiere on Monday, March 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Documentary Channel® (DOC). The feature-length film follows several Los Angeles-based Hotel Café musicians as they take their show from their historic home to venues all over the nation, launching several successful careers along the way.
Directed by Laura Crosta, “Sing: The Hotel Café Tour” features a collection of exclusive concert footage, photography and personal interviews with the 2008 Hotel Café Tour musicians including Cary Brothers, Gary Jules, Meiko, Rachael Yamagata, Eric Hutchinson, and Jim Bianco, among many others. Viewers are provided with an inside look into the life of touring musicians while sharing their triumphs and failures. Personal and professional relationships are examined, as well as the history of the venue and the talents it has birthed. While each musician has embarked upon his own special journey, they all share the same starting place: The Hotel Café.
Documentary Channel is primarily available through satellite television services DISH Network (Channel 197) and DIRECTV (Channel 267).
