The Houstons
Oct 19, 10pm @ Ace of Clubs
The Houstons, formerly known as the Houston Brothers, are releasing their first album under their new moniker, Still (MoRisen). This also marks the first time that the brothers Justin and Matt Faircloth have played with other musicians, bringing the group’s tally up to five. Still’s production is flawless and the tone is haunting and fully orchestrated indie rock bordering on folk. The Faircloth brothers took over a year off from the music business in order to mend the rifts that were forming in their lives. The decline and recovery is fully documented in the songs of Still, you just need to listen close enough.
