Event: The South Burgundy Street Jazz Band Live with George Probert (of Firehouse Five Plus Two)

Time: 1:00-5:00pm
Place: Arcadia Blues Club ~ 16 E. Huntington Drive, Arcadia

The group comes complete with siren & George Probert, one of the famous Firehouse Five Plus Two originals (http://www.firehousefiveplustwo.com/history.html). You will hear a razzle-dazzle selection of tunes that are reminiscent of this group of Disney artists lead by Ward Kimball on trombone that made America sing ‘n dance in the '50s with a little Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Lu Watters & King Oliver, thrown in. Leader Mike Olson (banjo) is joined by C.J. Sams (cornet); Robert Butler (trombone); Pat Aranda (keyboard), Ray Cadd (tuba) and Jon Lundgrin (drums) plus, of course, George Probert (sop sax).
