Silent Majority inks new artists and spreads news

We are proud to announce the signing of two new artists, Candlebox andSignum!

Candlebox, who have sold six million records worldwide is scheduled to enter the studio in December to begin work on their fourth studio album and first for Silent Majority Group. The band featuring original members Kevin Martin, Peter Klett, and Scott Mercado will also announce a new bass player soon. Signum, who hail from Augusta, Kansas has just put the finishing touches on their debut album with producer Brett Hestla ( Dark New Day, Framing Hanley, Creed) Their sound is perfect for their new label and management home Silent Majority Group as it is being described as a blending of mainstream rock staples Staind, Sevendust, and Linkin Park. Tantric readies third album!
Tantric's third album is being described by both label SMG head Jeff Hanson and producer Toby Wright (who produced this album and their platinum first album) as " Tantric's greatest work by far". Tantric singer Hugo Ferreira wrote all the songs for this album and was joined by a who's who of marvelous rock musicians including former Fuel drummer Kevin Miller. Adding lead vocals to the in your face rock duet "The One" is label mate Kevin Martin from Candlebox. The first single is scheduled to go to radio in early 2008 and will be followed by the album "The End Begins". Hugo and his new band mates hit the road for a U.S. tour in late Spring as well. Course of Nature's Damaged coming soon!
The sophomore release "Damaged" from Course of Nature is slated for a January 29, 2008 release and is being propelled by radio and a surprising press barrage. The single "Anger Cage" has just broken into the top 40 at active rock and there is an unheard of press frenzy tied to the Alabama rocker's follow up to their first album that sold nearly 200k copies. The band is being featured on Cnn, Hollywood Previews, Tv Guide channel , Starz Entertainment, E! Entertainment, Access Hollywood, and Buzznet. The video for "Anger Cage", will debut at the Ny Giants / Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday December 9th. More Framing Hanley Dates!
Framing Hanley, fresh off of a two month run with Trapt and Fuel heads out again with Evans Blue. Evans Blue took Framing Hanley out for their first ever U.S. tour earlier this year and have asked the boys out again! This tour runs until the end of the year. Their single "Hear Me Now", which hit 40 on the rock radio charts is now the third most played track of the year on Sirius Octane and a new single is scheduled for Spring 2008. Woodale debut coming in 2008!
The long awaited and highly anticipated debut full length album from Woodale will be recorded in Spring 2008 with Copeland singer / songwriter Aaron Marsh. Woodale is singer / songwriter Matt Wilbur and an array of Lakeland area artists who have played with Wilbur on multiple Southeastern tours. Wilber, who owns a Lakeland studio with Marsh, has written 30 new songs for the followup to last year's aptly titled "Finish What You Start". Fosterchild single, album and tour coming in 2008!
Fosterchild, formed by ex Fuel drummer Kevin Miller, recently had uberproducer / mixer Toby Wright remix their debut single "On My Own". The track will go to radio in Spring 2008 and will be followed by the national release of their debut album "Independence Day" and a U.S. tour.
