Slash to appear on Paltalk Nov. 7

Paltalk, the leading real-time, video-based online community, is bringing world-renowned guitarist Slash of the hard rock band Velvet Revolver on Wednesday, November 7th at 8PM EDT, directly to computer screens worldwide, through its interactive video platform, PaltalkScene.

Paltalk programming is truly unique in its ability to allow viewers to communicate directly with Slash himself, as well as the show hosts and other viewers, in real-time using voice, video and text chat as the shows air, providing a first-of-its-kind interactive and participatory user experience. This pioneering brand of socialcasting combines elements of broadcasted video content, social networking and live interactive video communities to form the next evolution of visual entertainment.

Slash--known for his trademark Les Paul guitar, black top hat and omnipresent cigarette, will sit down one-on-one with host Meiyee Apple Tam on Paltalk’s original program MusicScene to set the record straight on the release of his self-titled, much-anticipated autobiography and answer burning questions from fans around the world.

'Slash,' which hit bookstands on October 30th, tells the story of his wild early days on the streets of Hollywood, discovering drugs, drinking, rock music, and girls; the forming of legendary band Guns N’ Roses, how they wrote the music that defined an era and his eventual departure from the band; and the formation of his newest all-star, multi-platinum band, Velvet Revolver.

Past PaltalkScene featured guests have included platinum-selling R&B sensation JoJo; Jimmy Jean-Louis and Jack Coleman from the hit NBC-TV series Heroes; actor Rex Lee, acclaimed for his portrayal of agent Ari Gold’s assistant Lloyd on HBO’s smash hit show Entourage; filmmaker John Waters; actress and comedian Amy Sedaris of Strangers With Candy fame; actor Chevy Chase; actor and comedian Richard Belzer; musician Paul Shaffer; and popular indie band BitterSweet, whose music has been featured on Grey’s Anatomy, Nip/Tuck, Entourage, Desperate Housewives, Men In Trees, and Brothers & Sisters as well as the film The Devil Wears Prada.
