Support local music

Here's the latest from my friend Sierra Madre Sue:

Sunday afternoons at CAFE 322 have become quite the lunchtime music scene these days! New Astroturf started doing an every-other-Sunday Country/Folk Rock gig back in July, and then Mercy came on the scene with her Jazz Quartet in September. This Sunday, Nov. 11th it'll be local group OCHO X doing their Latin-influenced Rock jams. Most likely heavier on the instrumentals and jazzy stuff, so as not to blow the roof off the place! Sierra Madre residents Peter Burke on drums and Lon Sotelo on guitar are in this week's photo - and yes we are having a good time! Details below....

DATE CHANGE: TONITE!!! TUES. 11/6 (INSTEAD OF THEIR USUAL WED.) - MAX BUDA (formerly LOS CHUMPS featuring Chester on electric violin, Jerry on grand piano, Tedroy on bass and Sierra Madre's own Peter Burke on drums) @ CAFE 322 IN SIERRA MADRE, 8:00ish. 626-836-5414. Full bar, great Italian food. Sort of a unique jazzy-rock kinda thing - very entertaining stuff! And apparently tonight there's also a comedian performing - not sure who's on first!
