Unkle ot Fuel TV tonight

After a successful U.S. run of high-profile shows, UNKLE will make its TV debut as a live band on FUEL TV's "The Daily Habit" Tuesday, November 6. UNKLE will perform their second single "Hold My Hand" on the show, which airs today at 9:00pm ET (6:00pm PT), and repeats at 12:00am ET (9:00pm PT). For times and more information, visit: www.fuel.tv.

UNKLE's first U.S. tour as a live band included stops in New York, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco as well as UNKLE's only U.S. festival appearance this year at the Vegoose Festival in Las Vegas. In his New York Times live review of the Webster Hall show, writer Jon Pareles noted, "In the course of the set, UNKLE flipped through a history of British rock pomp, from psychedelia to Radiohead. Mr. Lavelle has clearly discovered the visceral, enveloping potential of guitars. With UNKLE working as a band rather than a studio project, the texture of the songs metamorphosed as they went from keyboards and beats to guitar turbulence, and the more frenetic they got the better they sounded" (October 20, 2007).

Released July 24 via UNKLE frontman James Lavelle's Surrender All label, WAR STORIES was co-produced by UNKLE and Queens Of The Stone Age producer Chris Goss. The follow-up to Never Never Land, WAR STORIES fuses UNKLE's trademark sound with traditional rock influences to stunning effect. Guest vocalists and players on the album include Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), Ian Astbury (The Cult), 3D (Massive Attack), The Duke Spirit, Autolux, Gavin Clark of new U.K. group Clayhill, Psychonauts' Pablo Clements, Nada Surf's Matthew Caws and Eagles of Death Metal's David Catching.

Next up for UNKLE is a UK tour including a sold-out show at Roundhouse in London on November 16. Additional stops on the UK run include Nottingham on November 12, Glasgow on November 13 and Manchester on November 15. UNKLE will return to London to headline the famed Brixton Academy on March 1, 2008.
