Vendors sought for LAWIM event

SEEKING VENDORS FOR LAWIM HOLIDAY BAZAAR/BOUTIQUE SALE 12/9/07

Last year we held this event at the Bel Age Hotel, which is no longer available as they are taking a year for renovations. We found a new venue in Topanga Canyon. We have representation in the area of jewelry, skin care, art, handmade scarves and accessories, children's clothing and even some musically styled jewelry. There will also be some music biz products available for purchase.
These kinds of bazaars do well in the canyon, which is known for being "artsy."We advertise it as a chance to do your HOLIDAY SHOPPING in one place for all kinds of cool and reasonably priced gifts
PLUS MUSIC PANELS (hosted by Just Plain Folks) & NETWORKING, followed by an OPEN MIC, hosted by Jimi Yamagichi (of Songnet). We have a nice list of panelists & seminar hosts for this music portion but we have space for a few more vendors.
The proposed new venue is the new "GLOBE THEATER" and our date would be SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2007 - from 10 am to 4 pm for Booth activities & sales.
There is also a room for food vendors and we have a few interested parties already. The GLOBE in Topanga is at 1909 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Topanga, CA 90290.
They currently present Shakespeare and musical productions under the direction of Geoffrey Forward and Elisabeth Howard.
Directions:
From Pacific Coast Highway, turn north on Topanga Canyon Blvd. Drive approximately 12 minutes up the canyon. Look for the address 1909, on your left.
From the Ventura Freeway (101) take Topanga Canyon Blvd., south. Drive approximately 10 minutes up into the canyon. Look for the address, 1909, on your right.
Parking available on site and lots of street parking.
We're planning raffles all day for wonderful prizes and downstairs from the theater: panels & seminars and snacks/food/drinks available for purchase.
Many prominent music industry organizations featuring Authors/Music Supervisors/Vocal Coaches & Speakers will provide presentations, seminars, information, books & products, and we'll be networking and schmoozing all day and sign-ups for our OPEN MIC which happens from 5:30 - 8 p.m.
