Five Adrenaline PR artists nominated for awards

FIVE ADRENALINE PR ARTISTS NOMINATED FOR SMNNEWS.COM METAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR!!!

Popular heavy metal news site SMNnews.com has released their nominations for their Metal Album of The Year Award. Five of the incredible artists who work with Adrenaline PR have been nominated for this great award. SMN puts the decision of who will take the title in to the hands of you the listeners, by allowing anyone who visits the site to vote for who they think should take it home. The Adrenaline PR nominees are; Dethklok, Every Time I Die, HORSE the Band, Machine Head, and The Red Chord.

The animated band Dethklok stormed on to the metal scene this year with their first CD release The Dethalbum. Dethklok are the animated character band from the Adult Swim cartoon, Metalocalypse. The Dethalbum managed to scan over 100,000 copies in just the first few weeks after release, a milestone most real death metal bands will never reach.

Buffalo, NY mainstays Every Time I Die released, arguably, their best effort to date when they dropped The Big Dirty earlier this year. The album is chock full of serious pummeling rock riffs. This has been a big year for Every Time I Die, in addition to co-headlining Sounds of the Underground, they were on the cover of November’s Alternative Press, and they were also the musical guest on the Halloween episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Nintendo-core masters HORSE the Band put out the crushing A Natural Death earlier this year to both critical and fan praise. The band has been busy out on the road playing with the likes of; Gwar, Between the Buried and Me, Taste of Chaos Mexico and more. The bands live show is an incredible spectacle and not to be missed. An Album of The Year award would wrap things up nicely for the boys this holiday season.

Machine Head unleashed The Blackening on the world earlier this year. The Blackening was the most well received album in the bands illustrious career. They have been crisscrossing the country to support the incredible effort all year. They have headlined a tour with Arch Enemy and also were support for Lamb of God. The Blackening has already received a number of album of the year nomination and wins, why not one more!

Massachusetts grind masters, The Red Chord receive the nomination for their newest album Prey For Eyes, easily the best grindcore album to be released this year, or in several for that matter. The Red Chord have also been hard at work on the road as part of the Metal Blade Records 25th Anniversary Tour. If you haven’t already given this album a serious listen, what are you waiting for?

Make sure to head over to SMNnews.com to place your vote for which album truly deserves the title Album of The Year. Everyone is allowed to vote once at this link http://www.smnnews.com/metal-album-of-the-year-2007/. Don’t miss your chance to have your voice be heard!
