Charlie Daniels to be inducted into Grand Ole Opry

Legendary country superstar Charlie Daniels will be inducted as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry on January 19, 2008 at the Ryman Auditorium, where the Opry is being held through March 1, 2008. Daniels was surprised with the invitation from Opry member Martina McBride during his annual Christmas For Kids benefit show in November. Opry members Marty Stuart and Connie Smith will help to honor Daniels during this special evening and Del McCoury, Mel Tillis and more of your Opry favorites will also appear.
