Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services, currently one of the largest, nonprofit, private children’s mental health and welfare agencies in Los Angeles County, would greatly appreciate donations of new, non-violent toys, games, books and gift certificates to toy or department stores for children ranging from 0 to 18 years old (mostly teens.)
NOTE: Donations are accepted through December 20, 2007.

Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services founded as an orphanage has evolved with the times. Our mission is cultivating hope and resilience to enrich the well-being of children, adults, families, and communities through a comprehensive continuum of services to over 9,000 children and families annually through a network of facilities stretching across Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, and the Antelope Valley.
Services include: a residential treatment center for youth ages 9 through 18; foster care and adoption services; a nonpublic school; school-based and outpatient mental health services; wraparound and in-home counseling services; a transitional living program for teens; and two family resource centers.
