Jason Walsmith of Iowa's own roots rockers, The Nadas, has recorded the season's most timely ditty. Together with Kyle Munson of the Des Moines Register, Walsmith authored and recorded "Get Outta Our Town (Caucus Lament)," which has become a YouTube.com sensation in four short days.
Over the past few days The Nadas have been fielding calls from the political desks of the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, not to mention a host of regional papers. Today, Jason appears on NPR's "Day To Day." Tonight, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's press secretary will be in the audience when The Nadas kick off 2008 with a New Years' Eve performance in Des Moines.
