I’m thrilled to be nominated - in the At Large Category - to serve on the Board of Directors for the AMA. I’m also honored to be included with such an extensive list of talented, experienced and passionate group of professionals. The ballots have gone out and there is only a few days left to vote. Although our professional bios were included with the ballots that were sent out, I wanted to share with you my personal story, inspiration and thoughts on how I might be of service to this organization. Now for the "other" exciting news about GRAMMY NOMINATIONS!
Last week the Nominees for the 50th Grammy Awards were announced and I'm over the moon about how many artists that we love and support are in the running! I'm most thrilled about LUCINDA WILLIAMS 2 nominations in the ROCK category! She's nominated for Best Rock Solo Vocal Performance on "Come On" (with the likes of a couple of other no names like Springsteen, McCartney, Mellencamp and Beck) the song (from her latest album WEST) is also nominated for BEST ROCK SONG!
