Celebrate New Year's Eve in Miami with Global RainDance

Global RainDance, the NYC-based social network whose parties and events help raise money for people in need, brings its booty-shaking brand of social responsibility to Miami Beach for a one-of-a-kind New Year's Eve Extravaganza at the historic art deco mirror tent, the Salon Perdu Spiegeltent. For nine weeks Global RainDance will host at Spiegelworld presented by The Raleigh Hotel a series of dance parties in Miami Beach at the extravagant Salon Perdu Spiegeltent, the fabulous Belgian venue that travels the globe enchanting visitors.
The piece de resistance of Spiegelworld's Miami Beach engagement will be on New Year's Eve when Paris-born DJ Sid 'L Vaga will spin Afro-Brazilian house music alongside aerialists, live percussionists and burlesque dancers for revelers lucky enough to secure limited tickets, which are on sale now for only $80 (bragging rights included in the ticket price).
Spiegeltent's romantic gilt design creates a mood of 1920's glamor and decadence wherever it calls home. The first Spiegeltent was built in the early 1900's in Belgium and for fifty years was a staple for dancing and live entertainment across Europe. Since the 1970's Spiegeltents have been traveling the world, providing a sexy alternative to the typical nightclub.
Spiegelworld spent the summer at New York's Pier 17 where the adult cabaret Absinthe delighted audiences and where RainDance NYC presented over 50 international music DJ's in Manhattans largest outdoor party this past summer.
Spiegelworld will be located at Collins Park in South Beach, Miami Beach at 21st St and Collins Ave, from December 20 through February 17. Besides the New Year's Eve extravaganza, Global RainDance, along with Aquabooty and Got Soul Sessions and Turn Tables on South Beach (aka Turn Tableson the Hudson), will be showcasing world-class DJ's every Thursday through Saturday during its run, and special guests, including Rich Medina of Philadelphia, jojo flores of Montreal, Neil Aline (Chez Music Records) of New York, Alex from Tokyo, Nickodemus of TOTH, DJ Blaze, Matty Heilbronn (Wave Records) and Miami Beach locals DHM and DJ DJ INJI, are booked throughout the tent's engagement.
Over 40 international DJ's are expected throughout the nine-week season. But December 31st will be the highlight of the Speigelworld experience with the promoters promising "a deep, soulful, uplifting, high-energy and captivating vibe for the more sophisticated world traveler and soulful local in dire need of a change of scenery!" Expect tickets to sell out. Venue capacity is estimated at 1,500 guests.
