New Mighty Mighty Bosstones effort out today

After an almost 4 year hiatus the best dressed band from Boston-- Dicky Barrett-Vocals, Joe Gittleman-Bass, Ben Carr-The Bosstone, Joe Sirois-Drums, Tim Burton-Saxophone, Roman Fleysher - Saxophone, Chris Rhodes-Trombone and Lawrence Katz-Guitar are back with that infectious brand of fun only the Bosstones can deliver. The new release from the MMB’s is indeed a DIY effort produced by Bosstone bass player Joe Gittleman “Medium Rare” is filled with new tracks co-written by Barrett and Gittleman as well as unreleased material and only released as vinyl b-sides. Fittingly, the band has returned once again to its roots deciding to release it on their own independent label Big Rig Records December 18.

December 2007 is shaping up to be a Mighty Mighty Bosstones fans dream as the band is also back with the HOMETOWN THROWDOWN (already sold-out) at The Middle East, kicking off on Wednesday December 26 thru Sunday December 30 for a five night stand.
