Sesame Street interactive museum show coming to Hollywood

SESAME STREET PRESENTS: THE BODY
AT HOLLYWOOD & HIGHLAND CENTER BEGINNING JANUARY 31, 2009

WHAT: Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? It’s easy! Simply visit Sesame Street Presents: The Body - at Hollywood & Highland Center.

Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, and Thinkwell Design & Production of Burbank, Calif. created this traveling, interactive museum show sponsored by New Balance.

Set in the fun, familiar and reassuring world of Sesame Street, and headlined by the lovable Muppets, Sesame Street Presents: The Body offers an exciting collection of hands-on, multimedia experiences that encourage children to explore the human body and how to keep it healthy, inside and out. Each exhibit area has multiple activities which provide age-appropriate and engaging learning opportunities for children two to eight years old. The exhibition emphasizes scientific investigation and developmental and curriculum-based learning goals tied to National Science Education Standards, Benchmarks for Science Literacy and the Sesame Street Healthy Habits for Life Curriculum.
