The English Beat to perform Haiti benefit concert Wednesday in LA

Raising an astounding $10,000+ for Haiti earthquake victims at their benefit concert on Sunday night (January 17) in San Francisco, UK ska legends THE ENGLISH BEAT have planned a second benefit show for the Los Angeles area at Air Conditioned Supper Club (625 Lincoln Blvd., Venice, CA) on Wednesday, January 20th with Venice Beach's reggae/ska/punk band Meet Me at the Pub supporting. Like the San Francisco benefit, 100% of the proceeds will go to DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS, an organization sending immediate emergency aid to communities affected by the disaster.

Doctors Without Borders ("Médecins Sans Frontières" in its original French) is a secular humanitarian-aid non-governmental organization best known for its projects in war-torn regions and developing countries facing endemic disease and is currently spearheading efforts in bringing medical employees and supplies to Haiti. The organization's website can be found at www.msf.org/.

Tickets for the Air Conditioned Supper Club show are available at inticketing.com by donation only (minimum donation: $25; preferred donation: $50; Meet & Greet + show: $100). Doors open at 7pm and are 21+.
