Matt Lowell on tour in support of new EP

Matt Lowell, with his sophomore EP, “Second Storm,” offers up a melodic journey of unabashed soul redemption. Lowell’s passionate vocals shift from quiet, in-the-room intimacy to stadium worthy dynamic bursts of power, all alongside a blend of soaring acoustic and a comfortably familiar lyrical honesty. Co-written and produced by the 2008 Boston Music Awards Producer of the Year, Crit Harmon, this is Matt’s second time working with Crit.

After graduating Berklee College of Music and completing the “First Taste” EP (which had songs featured on Real World Brooklyn, ESPN, and the Everwood DVD) Matt began his ’08 -’09 tour having over 55 shows at popular venues such as BB Kings, Blender Theatre, Highline Ballroom and Irving Plaza. He opened for well known acts as Eve6, Jeffrey Gaines, Martin Sexton, Marcy Playground, Val Emmich, Will Dailey, and most recently touring with Ryan Cabrera.

Matt’s warm, enveloping voice is likely familiar to your ears. Most recently being voted an “Artist To Watch” by Clear Channel and voted “Best of Long Island Singers for 2010” this is a show not to miss.
