Four years after his 2006 debut disc Cold Winter Drafts, singer/songwriter Rob Fillo is slated to release his locally acclaimed sophomore album Angel of Victory.
The album, described by Vancouver folk darling Karen Larson as “intoxicating” and “deeply intelligent”, is an indie rock stand-out with beautifully crafted tracks and thoughtful lyrics that display the raw, vocal intensity reminiscent of a young Eddie Vedder. Rob Fillo is a professional musician and sound engineer living and performing in Vancouver, BC. He is also the chair of the Vancouver Artists' Collective Association, a nonprofit organization that assists artists pursuing professional careers through a networked community hosting special events and providing information on artist workshops, funding, mentorship and employment opportunities.
