The Features in Upland Sept. 20

The Features will play The Wire in Upland on September 20th in support of their new album, Wilderness (8 out of 10 stars in SPIN Magazine!). The tireless Nashville-quartet pumps out huge melodies, with influences ranging from Krautrock to psychedelia to indie rock.

Kings of Leon has proclaimed The Features to be “the best undiscovered band around,” and Wilderness marks their first release on Kings of Leon’s label, Serpents and Snakes/Bug Music. Their devoted fanbase would certainly agree, as their smartly-crafted brand of boisterous pop explodes on stage.

“The Tennessee indie-rock foursome peppers its third album, Wilderness, with keyboards, energetic drum riffs and hand claps to spur along front man Matt Pelham's plaintive wails. But the important thing is this: the Features can rock.” –TIME Magazine
