AT&T and youth documentary production company, Wayfinder.TV, are teaming up to launch ‘On the Road with blink-182’ – a national search to find an aspiring filmmaker, journalist or a curious soul with a creative point of view to go on tour with blink-182 and work with their production team to document the experience and tell the story of the band, the music, the tour, and most importantly the evolution of blink-182 fans. The winner will go on tour with the band, get access to the band and all of the folks behind-the-scenes; in addition, they’ll get support from a professional crew to help them shoot, edit and produce a documentary that will be released after the tour. The winner will also receive a stipend for their time.
After more than a year in the studio – writing, recording, and fine tuning – the multi-platinum trio Travis Barker, Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus, are set to deliver their first new blink-182 album since 2003—Neighborhoods. Blink-182 is back and they’re set to make their loyal fans very happy by offering them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to follow the band and document their tour.
Applications are being accepted beginning now through September 11. To apply and for more details, visit www.social.att.com/blink-182OTR
