Western Dental accepting Toys for Tots donations

This holiday season, Western Dental Services, Inc., is launching its first-ever partnership with Toys for Tots.

More than 280 offices in the dental health maintenance organization in California and Arizona are now collecting new and unwrapped toys that will be distributed at Christmas to needy children.

With nearly 4,000 employees in the treatment centers statewide and headquarters in Orange, Calif., the company is positioned to make a significant donation to the not-for-profit toy collection program.

Western Dental offices will accept donations of new and unwrapped toys until December 15, when coordinators from Toys for Tots will gather the gifts, and work with regional offices to distribute them through select charitable organizations.

Residents of communities served by Western Dental are encouraged to take advantage of the many offices with convenient neighborhood locations, ample free parking and evening and weekend hours to drop off their donations.

“We’re all about healthy smiles -- and we’re thrilled to help bring smiles to children with the Toys for Tots program,” said Western Dental president and CEO Samuel H. Gruenbaum.

Western Dental is one of California’s oldest and most experienced dental and oral health maintenance organizations; additional offices are in Arizona and Nevada.
Western Dental is also a proud sponsor of the LA Marathon, the Delancey Street Foundation, Fiesta Broadway in Los Angeles, the Fresno Cross City Race, and regularly provides free dental care at community health fairs.
