Wilco adds second LA concert Jan 25

After selling out the Palladium in Hollywood, Wilco has added a second Los Angeles-area concert, this time at The Wiltern on January 25. The Wiltern is located at 3790 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles. White Denim will be supporting.

Tickets for The Wiltern show go on sale Friday, November 18 at 10:00AM at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000. There is a strict 2 ticket per household purchase limit for this show.

The band has just released their brand new album, The Whole Love, which NPR calls, “Wilco's most adventurous record in a decade.” The record is the band’s eighth studio album and the first for the band's newly-formed dBpm Records. It follows the band’s 2009 Grammy-nominated Wilco (The Album) and was recorded at the band’s Chicago recording studio The Loft. The Whole Love features 12 new original tunes and is produced by Jeff Tweedy with Patrick Sansone and Tom Schick.

For Wilco's upcoming 2012 North American tour dates, they have launched the Wilco Fan Video Project, which presents fans with a new way to interact with the concert experience. Using Vimeo, fans film and submit footage of their cities -- footage which may then be projected behind the band on stage. In addition, fans can take advantage of the popular song request (and dedication) function hosted on the band's website, wilcoworld.net.
