Duo Chris and Thomas will be live on KCRW June 22

Los Angeles-based duo Chris and Thomas will be live in studio guests on Los Angeles NPR station KCRW’s acclaimed Morning Becomes Eclectic program on Friday, June 22. MBE host/KCRW music director Nic Harcourt championed the duo’s independent EP last year and continues his support of their forthcoming August release Land Of Sea.
Those not in the Southern California area will be able to stream the web broadcast at www.kcrw.com and the musical guests normally perform in the 11:00AM PST hour on the station.
Angelinos will be treated to a performance by Chris and Thomas at the Hotel Café on Tuesday, June 26.
The album was recently lauded by MOJO Magazine in the UK: “One’s from Memphis, one’s from Munich, but their voices fuse like twins on this excellent full-length debut, a very close runner up to album of the month. They can sound like Joe Pernice channeling Simon & Garfunkel or young Crosby & Nash lost on a moonlit prairie. This is evocative and impressive stuff.”
Chris and Thomas’ track “Horse in the Sky” was featured on the soundtrack of the Lindsay Lohan film Georgia Rule.
