Vote for The Higher in the Book the Band contest

Pop-rock group The Higher is currently taking part in Virgin Mobile’s “Book the Band” competition, where the winning band will open the 2007 Virgin Festival (featuring The Police, Smashing Pumpkins and Beastie Boys among others) in front of thousands of people at Baltimore’s Pimlico Race Course on Saturday, August 4th. Fans of The Higher can vote for the band at www.virginfestival.com/2007/booktheband.html or text “HIGHER” to 68710 (standard text messaging rates apply).
Since the release of the their album On Fire in March, The Higher have exploded on all fronts with a smoking hot video for their single “Insurance?” playing regularly on MTVU and FUSE, a leading position in AOL’s “Breakers” competition and a recent appearance on FUSE’s “The Sauce.”
In addition to the group’s recent successes, The Higher have announced they will be hitting the road with Motion City Soundtrack in July for a month long US tour.
