Dave Lovejoy working on Hootin' Hollow with school kids

My friend artist Dave Lovejoy sent me this news that I just had to share because it's soooo cool! ~M

Hi friends.

Attached is a pic of progress so far on "Hootin' Hollow", a woven willow 'playhouse' at the Cow Hollow School in the San Francisco Presidio. Each view is from a different P.O.V., taken on consecutive days since the start. Materials, weather and volunteer support have all been favorable.

Yesterday was spent weaving with the students, all age 2-1/2 to 5 years old. Kids at this age are all visceral emotion, and it's so much fun when that emotion is pure joy - their reaction has been most fulfilling.
