Experience Rascal Flatts in 3D virtual reality

Vivaty Inc., a leading virtual world company, today announced that it launched a highly immersive virtual music scene for country super-group Rascal Flatts and their upcoming record Unstoppable. This effort represents the second time Universal Music and Vivaty have partnered and follows the positive response from end-users and the overwhelming commercial success of their first project.

The Rascal Flatts virtual music scene is a fully 3D virtual experience where Rascal Flatts fans can listen to tracks from the new album, Unstoppable, watch videos, chat, dance, leave and read messages, and socialize with other fans of the band. Fans will also be able to listen to the entire album inside the experience when the album is released on April 7th, 2009. From the web-based virtual scene, fans will also be able to buy the album in addition to joining the official Rascal Flatts fan club.

Running on Vivaty's web-based platform for social virtual communities, the Rascal Flatts virtual music experience is accessible in web browsers at a wide range of fan sites, community sites, social networks, IM clients, and online destinations across the web, including Facebook and AOL Instant Messenger. In addition, fans can embed this visually rich and social 3D virtual experience into blogs and web pages of their own.

"The Vivaty platform gives brands, entertainment properties, video games, fashion companies, and any consumer product a highly engaging, visually rich social experience that can be customized uniquely for their content and community, and delivered wherever their consumers are on the web. In addition, Vivaty is soon launching a virtual goods transaction engine and partner store interface so brands and partners can easily generate revenue using the Vivaty platform."
