iTunes applauds eco-friendly musicians

How are Jack Johnson, Coldplay and the Black Eyed Peas celebrating Earth Day? The same way the gang at Ideal Bite is … rocking out to some of the most eco-conscious musicians in the industry today. Want music to really feel good about? The Ideal Bite team (the sassy website that brings users free daily tips on “light-green” living) has put together an iTunes playlist chock-full-o some of the greenest musicians in the biz.

Here are just a few of the songs and artists on the list:

1. "Flake" by Jack Johnson
This crooning cutie founded the Kokua Hawaii Foundation which supports eco-causes in his home state, he also carbon-offsets all his tours.

2 "Lovers in Japan" by Coldplay
This quartet sews its own clothes, and carbon-off set the production of past albums. Chris Martin even got inked to show his love for fair-trade with a “make trade fair” tattoo on his hand.
3. "Human Behavior" by Björk
Although not know for her fashion sense (remember the swan?) Bjork just released a new documentary about eco-issues facing her native Iceland. (Exclusively available on iTunes).

4. "The Seed (2.0)" by the Roots
Not only are these hip-hopers hanging with Jimmy Fallon every night, they also worked on vegan campaigns with PETA and have hosted green pre-Grammys parties.

5. "No Surprises" by Radiohead
Longtime vegan, Thom Yorke wrote an alternative rock album inspired by climate change.
