SISTER CITIES SPONSORS ART CONTEST
Your Path to Peace is the theme of a student art contest sponsored by the Pasadena Sister Cities Committee.
Pasadena residents ages 13 to 18 are encouraged to submit original, two-dimensional works in oil, watercolor, pastels, pen and ink, charcoal, photography, mixed media or computer-generated art of no larger than 24 by 30 inches, including matting.
The deadline for submissions is April 15. The winning work, selected by the committee, will be forwarded to the Sister Cities International competition and the artist will receive prize money.
Pasadena Sister Cities is a volunteer organization with exchange programs in Armenia, China, Finland, Germany and Japan to help Pasadenans learn more about these countries’ cultures.
